Description

This notebook load an event HDF5 created by the timepix3 detector, rebin and display the profile. Bragg peaks of Ta or Ni can also be displayed on the profile. The user can play with some parameters to calibrate the run, such as the number of bins, distance source-detector, and detector offset.

Select Event HDF5

Using the file selection tool, select the He3 tube detector HDF5 file.

The histogram of the file will be automatically plotted. Feel free to play with the widgets and see live the changes in the plot.

If you choose the Lambda axis, either Ni or Ta Bragg peaks will be displayed. Those can be used to calibrate the detector offset for example.
